Hi, i've just had a new pcb fitted and now the hot water and heating now dont get as hot, the central heating comes on and gets up to 60 then turns off and keeps to that. The water is hot but not as hot as before. Any idea's?

Check with the central heating system whether its properly working or not. Normally these kind of defects comes from electronic system failure. Once contact your electrician for further help.

Check you've fitted the temp control knobs propperly, sometimes if they're not slotted into the potentiometers on the PCB correctly it can look like they're on maximum when they're on half.

Hi, The knobs are on ok they sit on d pegs so only go on one way, did forget to say that the new board is a upgrade/ revised part no, the knobs on the new board only travel 90deg, the old ones swept 180deg, the new travel is from 1/2 on to full on. I did wonder if it's the safty thermostat as this has an upgrade no as well.

Thanks for the help so far

You've got the knobs on the wrong way, they should sweep as far as the old ones did. Pull them off and poke a screwdriver in the holes to turn the potentiometers up to max, then refit the knobs in the max position.

Sussed it, had to take the drive pegs out and turn them round, thanks for all the help my little girl can stay with me now :D . As you gathered this is not my area, my heating guy is on holiday so he tried to help me over the phone [ i fix his bikes he fixes my heating]. Again many thanks
