Potterton Performa 28i - Advice Please

Hi,

I have a Potterton Performa 28i.

This morning the boiler is heating water when I turn on the hot tap, but... when its time for the heating to turn on nothing happens? Ive tried resetting and turning on and off but no joy?

Any one with any ideas where I Can start?

The diverter actuator may have failed in the DHW preheat position?

Take the actuator off and see if the pin end is dry and moves when the boiler function changes.

Thats for a start.

What tools do I need to remove the actuator! These things expensive?

Only touch it if you are competent !

Otherwise call a boiler engineer who is familiar with the instant version of the 28.

Im quite good at building lego so im sure this can't be much more difficult
