Potterton Performa 28i timer

Hi,
Moved house over the summer and boiler (Potterton Performa 28i) has been working fine for hot water. Now we've started using it for CH however the timer has been playing up. Sometimes get home from work (about 6pm) to find the heating hasn't come on because the timer is stuck at 3pm and heating is set to come on at 5pm. Any ideas of what is wrong? Does it just need a new timer? The timer is a Grasslin one.
