Hi, I have a quick question about this boiler. I have a switch on the boiler saying 'hot water continous'. What does this mean exactly and will this mean that energy use will be high?

I am guessing slightly but think that ensures the store is kept hot so that full DHW performance can be achieved at any time without any delay.

It would cost more to run but is really expected to be used if any significant DHW usage is required.

It would normally be turned off if you go away for a few days/weeks.

The domestic hot water supply is heated continuously, regardless of what time is set on the (built-in?) programmer. Useful if, say, you need a shower very late and all the stored hot water has been used. Then you forget to switch it back until some weeks later.
