Potterton Pr1maF boiler

I'm having problems with a Potterton Pr1maF boiler. Over the last few weeks the pilot light only seems to fire up when it wants too, therefore the house is absolutely freezing. When we switch the water to heat up, it only seems to heat a quarter of the bath and it is only luke warm. Can anybody throw some heat on this situation, we are freezing and not sure what to do next. Also the reset button seems to be stuck in. Hope somebody can help us out.

need a bit more information when in fault mode ie
is fan running
can you see/hear sparking through pilot sight glass
does boiler fire up then stop shortly afterwards

thanks for reply. Your suggestions were exactly as it is.
Fan keeps running, and boiler tries to fire up, it keeps trying to ignite but not successful, if we leave it on eventually it will finally ignite, then once lit for a few minutes shuts itself of, we wondered if it could be connected to any kind of thermostat. someone suggested bleeding all radiators, we've done that, but only one need bleeding but this has still made know difference
