Been living in house four years.
Last saturday woke up, no hot water or heating, get pilot light but no full flame, ignitor still sparking. Took cover off boiler, vacuumed out and cleaned burner chamber, worked ok. Sunday morning same thing. Monday couldnt get to work at all until late, tap electrical control box on boiler with screwdriver and it lights. Got heating engineer round wednesday, changed and checked a few things, same problem, decided to change pcb, so being helpful, while hes was fetching from van, switched off boiler and started to disconnect cables, got electric shock, found 240volt on neutral. Have spent today trying to rectify, managed to clear 240 off neutral but then switched fused spur wouldnt turn boiler off. Have tried to adapt standard central heating control diagram to suit this boiler with live feed, switched feed and pump feed at boiler. Have you got a combined boiler / controls circuit diagram I could follow to rectify for the Potterton 40 F please
