Potterton puma 80 pilot ignition problems

Hi

I have an old potterton puma 80 boiler on which the pilot light wont come on, If i fire it up manually it will stay on for few hours and give out HW and also work with CH but it just needs to be ignited every few hours. Its a combi boiler, works fine otherwise.
Any suggestions please.
 
Those old girls don't respond to DIY attention. Call a pro and mention the fault and ask him to include a service at the same time...........Winters coming.....
