Good Day Gentlemen - new member here!
9 yr old system
initially low system pressure light - reset this thx to previous advice.
However, light extinguished now but boiler and pump fire up intermittently.
no visible movement of contacts inside the switches when I flick the boiler switch or pump switch. However they do move when the system decides it wants to do it itself.
Have tapped the various valves - no dice
Is the pump on its way out? muck on a diaphragm?
Don`t want to buy unneccessary parts
HELP PLEASE

You pump could be jamming intermittantly....get out the multimeter and look for 240vac on the pump...if power stays on and pump stops....change the pump!
