Hey all,
After a bit of searching around I'm aware that this model is quite troublesome. Unfortunately we've had this boiler for 8 years and this is the second problem we've had. The first being we had to replace the PCB.

Ours recently started leaking clear water (a few weeks ago) which is now dripping water whenever it is switched off.

Unfortunately there's no mention to it anywhere, so before we call in an engineer, does anyone have any experience with regards to this issue on this model and how it can be resolved?

Unfortunately the only way to diagnose this is to remove the cover off the boiler and visually look for the source of the leak.

At best it could just be a joint that needs tightening, at worst the HE leaking.

It probably only leaks when cold due to the metals or joints expanding with the heat and 'sealing' the leak temporarily.

Removing the cover should only really be done by an RGI though

2 problems in 8 years? thats hardly a disaster.

im willing to bet the heat exchanger is leaking on the left side.
