Hi

I have been unable to sort a Potterton Ultra 80. It is around 10 years old.

It lights OK, then within seconds cuts out and within seconds again, relights. This cycle continues around 10-15 times a minute. I have had the PCB repaired (as far as I know) by an electronics firm but it has made no difference. The fan is working fine.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Nigel

Often an airlfow problem, which makes it a corgi job.

Wait to have the p*ss taken out of you over the pcb...

Is the problem on the central heating or the hot water ?,or both ? :?:

Okayeeeee, So why the ch /hw query? Never seen one of these but they have a DV inside don't they?

All those I have seen have been a system boiler some with and some without a motor valve inside. They have all been installed with a thermal store although I presume they could also be used with a cylinder.

Sounds like the flame detection or the APS, both CORGI jobs.
