Pouring concrete for trench fill foundation question.

Hi,

I am laying a foundation for a garden wall and am mixing the concrete myself in a mixer. Do I have to fill the entire length of the foundation in one go whilst all the concrete is wet?

If not, should I fill the whole trench in layers or fill to the top of the trench in sections?

Ideally in one go.

If not, then dig 1 section to full depth and put in a few lengths of rebar. I think this is usually done by digging one section of trench, square off the trench end square with a spade, bang some rebar into the soil and leave poking half out.

I'm no way a pro, but the minimum depth of strip Foundation is around 150mm so as long as you put in that much for each layer there couldn't really be a problem.
