I already have a plug-in unit which detects amps, Watts and Voltage. I have been looking at one of these http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=220934&&source=14&doy=4m3

But I would like something more permanent with LCD display etc next to the meter and connected to the mains itself. Do such devices exist or is the above the closest thing on the market.

Also, how accurate are they?

Thanks

Sorry, I probably didn't make myself clear, reading it back this morning :)

I already have a similar device to the one you linked.

I would actually like something similar to the images in following link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4754109.stm

Not sure how it would be implimented as it seems you would have a separate device on each socket or group of sockets feeding back to a main control unit - possibly wirelessly??
