I have two double power points which are all in use for tv, digibox, video, bedside lamp etc. I have just bought a DVD player which means that I had to have a four socket trailing box to plug it into. All the items are obviously fused. Is it quite safe to use them in this way?

All items are quite low power usage.
Make sure the wires are out of harms way though. i.e. no-one can trip over them or catch them with a chair etc whoch may cause damage.
