I've just replaced the pump for my Aqualisa shower with a slightly more powerful one. Now the shower has decided to reverse the temperature positions on the expensive wall knob, it alternates from raging hot to freezing without human interference and it turns on and off at will, even if though I have turned the knob round to the off position.

I'm going to pull the rug from under it by switching off the water supply and pump but can anyone advise on a fix?

Have you exceeded the intended pressure limit for your shower valve?

When you sau that the shower made a decision, do you mean that you transposed the connections on the pump?

Have you spoken to Aqualisa?

You've connected the hot and cold the wrong way round, perhaps. (Is that what softus meant by "transposing connections?)

Indeed I did Chris, viz:

v. trans·posed, trans·pos·ing, trans·pos·es
v. tr.

1. To reverse or transfer the order or place of; interchange.
