Power shower - no water flowing for the first minute when turned on

Hi everyone,

Recently my power shower started misbehaving. Whenever I turn it on no water comes through for the first 30 seconds or so, although I can hear the internal pump. After 30 seconds (sometimes one minute) the water starts flowing through.

I've checked my taps whenever that happens and I've got hot water, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Could it be trapped air and I should I bleed my radiators? Or is it a problem with the power shower itself?

Thanks!

1. Nothing to do with central heating.
2. Assuming it is a power shower (pump inside, both hot and cold pipes to shower) and not an electric shower, probably air in the pipes.
3. Try putting shower head on bases of bath / shower tray and running shower for a few moments. Might clear it.
