power shower plumming

this is my first post so please be gentle with me
i am in the process of remodeling our bathroom and i would like to know if i can run a feed to the shower direct from the mains ?

Be gentle Stem :LOL: plumbing forum=mains water.Electrics forum = mains 240v. 50 hertz ac. ;)

I can never understand why 1st time posters do this :confused:. Royboydiy; it’s not going to make any difference to the sensible contributor responses you will get but it’s like waving a red flag saying “please abuse me” at those who love to ridicule! Just ask your questions & ignore less than helpful comments ;)
 
if it is a mains feed electeric shower the answer is yes

but if it's a pumped or a power shower no you can't

That`s what I thought ;) Ask on the electrics forum if it`s an electric heated shower- for cable sizing etc. Non electric mixer shower, can`t have mains cold and tank fed hot.
