i am in the process of remodeling our bathroom and i would like to know if i can run a feed to the shower direct from the mains ?

you can't connect a electric power shower to mains nor can you connect any pumped mixer to mains.

if it is a mains feed electeric shower the answer is yes

but if it's a pumped or a power shower no you can't

That`s what I thought Ask on the electrics forum if it`s an electric heated shower- for cable sizing etc. Non electric mixer shower, can`t have mains cold and tank fed hot.
