powermax 155x - correct settings

Sorry to bother you guys with a potentially stupid question but I find this boiler a bit of a perculiarity.

If i want hot water on this, should I set the timer or just have the hot water on constant. The manual says the recommended settings are H/W all day and CH auto (timed). If I'm just running hot water, should I stil have this set to all day? Would seem to render the timer useless...?

Trying to figure out the best settings for efficiency.

Best to leave the HW on these set to 24Hours they are very well insulated so dont lose a lot of heat unless CH is switched on or HW is drawn
