Afternoon all, have just been pointed here by someone who highly recommends the site. Just after a bit of advice if possible.
Just moved into my house about 3 weeks ago and the heating was working fine until last night. The house is 6 years old and I imagine the boiler has been here the whole time. The Powermax boiler has the programmer system installed and went a bit weird.
It just doesn't seem to fire up the CH. The HW is still working and me and the girlfriend managed to both get a hot shower this morning. When one of us jumps in the shower the green burner light comes on for a few minutes before turning off again, even when the red indicators are on 24hr for both HW and CH.
Had another go this morning and the green burner light came up when switched from off to Hot Water Cont but lasted another 2 minutes before conking out again.
Everytime it fails or I try to switch it no lights come on, not even the lock out one.
I've searched the forums and found a bit of useful info but nothing that directly answers this question. Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially just before Christmas day!
