Looking for some advice on this practical matter please.
I have added my garage to my alarm system, all fine thanks to forum help.
I’m now second guessing the cable to the external sounder though. I used the same internal 8 core I have always used without thinking but now worry that where it is exposed behind the external sounder and loops down from the garage and back up into the sounder the wire may degrade over time.
It’s not really exposed but I’m still kicking myself for not using outdoor rated cable as I guess it may get wet and uv etc.
Am I over-thinking or should I go through the effort of changing it.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts from those who do this sort of thing more regularly.
