I'm not sure the picture shows my existing ground too well. Basically the garden has lumps and bumps, a few weeds, and areas where grass is coming through.

We want to raise the garden 100mm by bringing in screened top-soil.

I'm guessing I should go across the whole garden removing all debris, however, should I dig out all the bits of old grass, weeds etc, and then rotavate the lot? It's a big garden.

    Many thanks.
