We have a flat roof garage that is being changed into a liveable room (all building regs approved we intend). We want to render the outside of all 3 sides up to a thin flat roof edge like the below.
How do you finish off and seal up the ends/side of the joists ready for rendering? Whilst we’ll get someone to do the rendering we’re keen to do the preparation
Below are two sides of our current arrangement showing the joist side/ends. They’re pretty much flush with the brickwork
