I have a sealed S plan system and recently it has developed a leak - around half a bar a day - so quite serious. I have checked all accessible joints and fixed a minor weep, but not located the main leak. The only remaining pipes/connectors are under the floors to the rads, or the coil in the cylinder. So, the question, is there any way I can check the cylinder coil?

TIA

Cap the pipes to the cylinder coil off and repressurise the system. Run it for a few days and see if the problem persists.

Obviously during this period you won't have hot water heated by the boiler. But if you have an immersion heater then you can use that
