i have a gloworm boiler that regulary drops pressure, this has never been a problem as you just have to top it up and then everything is ok.
it has now dropped pressure and on topping it back up the gauge shows the correct pressure but the indicator light that shows low pressure is staying on and i presume that is what is stopping the boiler from working.
any ideas?

Firstly you need to find out why it is losing pressure.

Have you any visible leaks or drips from pipe work, joints, rad valves etc?

Have you any drips or water loss from the prv discharge pipe?

Your latest problem could just be the pressure gauge stuck, or vice versa, the electronic pressure sensor blocked with some crud from the system.
