Hi all
First time on site and must say its pretty good.
Read a lot on the forum as l now have a problem, but need a more definitive answer if possible from someone with expertice.
Unfortunately l have a Saunier Duval SD30e combi which hasn't been too bad since we had it fitted 6 yrs ago, but the other day l went to bleed the rads with the heating still on ( l know now silly thing to do ) and a lot of air came out of the last bedroom rad , so gave it agood drain.
When l checked the boiler pressure after it was at zero so topped up using the filling loop too about 1.5 bar.
Problem now is since then the boilers been loosing pressure quickly, about 7hours from 1.5 to zero bar, and hence heating goes off.
Also the outside overflow pipe leaks all the time now, where as before it never did.
I'm wondering if l over filled a hot system, opened the pressure relief valve and now its stuck open.
Can any one please shed any light on what the problem might be and how to resolve it. I'm happy to tackle it my self if not too difficult.
Many thanks for any feed back.
Bob.
P.S. I've rang the companys helpline to no avail.
