ONE:

I am considering getting rid of all my cronky bits of test gear and replacing them either with an all-in-one (preferable), or a test kit in a holdall type of set-up.

Will the Fluke 1653 have everything I will ever need?

And is £755.00 a good price?

Any other recommendations?

TWO:

I got some prices for Hager recently, and they compare badly with my best prices for MK Admittedly these MK prices were (not literally, I hasten to add!) a steal, but I still cannot sqaure the product with the price.

Prices rounded to nearest pound.

Hager 16way board 100A incomer. 34, MK 14 way -16 (board + incomer)

Hager RCBO 36. MK 31

Hager mcbs 6, MK 3

For my configuration MK would cost 192+, and Hager 256+ a difference of 64 sovs.

Anybody care to provide their prices for Hager?

Any prices/ideas much appreciated.

Cheers, folks!

Hasn't this Q come up before? I'm sure I remember it, and a reply from FWL about the MK price not being that special.....

Or do I need to lie down in a darkened room?

No, believe me Ban. The MK price is A1. But I was looking for cheaper Hager if anybody can quote OTTOTH.

Also Crabtree s/l fully loaded 15 way for 73 + dreaded. Good?

I like MEM too, but very bulky. Not good for tiny cabinets.

Cheers, Mike...

Well how about a yes/no on the test gear and if the price is good, just waggle your big toe....
