can any one help? just replaced primatic cylinder. 900 x 450 with 27 inch immersson. straight swap no new pipe work. but for some reason the water storage tank seems to keep filling up. to the point it is over flowing.?it seems to come up from the cold feed to the cylinder how this poss is it a faulty cylinder? just had new bathroom suite installed could this have any problems to do with it ? really need help on this one as cant have water on due to it keeps fill tank up.

yeah it has a shower mixer cold is mains. the cylinder worked fine for bout half an hour. it fills tank up when the mixer is not on.
Unequal supplies = problems. 
Take the cold feed off the tank which should be slightly lower than the hot feed in case the tank empties in which case it is better for the hot supply to run out first to avoid scalding.

hey yeah i understand. but will that stop the tank above cylinder from filling up though the cold feed.it feels like it comes up the cold feed from the cylinder to the tank in. the problem still happerns even when the shower is off.
