primatic fault

hi, have added extra rads onto existing system.isolated existing rads and drained down system. thought it was an indirect hot water system (vented) but turns out to be indirect single feed system with primatic cylinder. cental heating system working champion but cant get water to heat.
- drained down cylinder and ch pipework and refilled at same time. no joy.
can anyone advise. your help would be appreciated.

do a search . or strike cylinder gently with one of these

if you weigh it in you may get 20-30 squid
