primatic water cylinder

Primatic cylinder in the airing cupboard in bedroom, with cistern directly above in same cupboard. Obviously insufficient head for gravity shower in bath.
If I put the cistern in the loft, to achieve sufficient head of water, will the extra pressure have an effect on the bubble in the cylinder

no most are in the loft. never met one that has been a problem

No as long as you don't use a pump you won't lose the airlock.
