Hi. I will be re-emulsioning a wall presently lined with lining paper that is is in excellent condition. I have removed a double electrical socket from the wall, repaired the hole with a piece of plasteboard, "filled" using Toupret Redlite and "sanded down" .
My query is, what primer(s) should I consider for this area to prevent "flashing" when re-emulsioning ?
Many thanks.

Add a splash of water to emulsion and use a mini roller to prime. Leave overnight to dry. Paint the wall.

Durable emulsions tend to flash more than standard vinyl matt but I wouldn't worry about it especially if so small. The filler you use is less likely to flash anyway.
It's unlikely to flash so just get on with it and see what happens

Thanks for the speedy reply and the info. The emulsion is Dulux Heritage and I've just remembered I have a tin of Zinsser 123 if that also might be appropriate ?
