Would appreciate some advice on our principal elevation as we are looking to do a side extension under PD. The front door is shown by the arrow but my question is, does the room to the right of the kitchen (currently a workshop) contribute to the principal elevation? Small building far right is a boiler house, would that also form the principal elevation?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what happened there. Hopefully this works!

Assuming the principal elevation is the one with the front door shown by the arrow then yes, they're all principal elevations. You wouldn't be able to add anything to the front of the house under PD.

Freddie has answered but there's not enough information to be 100% sure and front door is not always on the front, but I can see bay windows on the left.
Which side is the road? Principal elevation is usually clear cut, but sometimes it can be less clear.

Thanks to you both for replying. The road runs parallel with the front door of the house, so off to the bottom of the floorplan.
