PRIUS or........

I think it a shame and will hurt the company.

The Japanese are meticulous about everything and their motor industry is without exception. The top twenty most reliable cars in the world are dominated by the Japanese.

Somebody will be falling on a sword as we speak.

Seeing as these cars seem to be driven by the brain-washed, brown rice, aren't we ever-so green brigade, I like to think its pronounced/spelt 'Pious'!

Same people who used to roll around in 2CVs in the 70s/80s. Just a bit wealthier and greyer.

Saw Gordon (is a moron) Brown squeezing into the back of one the other day. Who are they tring to kid?

1 of the added options you can now get with a lot of toyotas,
AN ANCHOR.

Every week there is a recall for something or other.
Shoe laces too long
Push chairs
Food
My Mondeo had a recall
The list goes on

At least with the motor industry the owner can be contacted.

Maybe we should register with everything we buy, oh we do if we use store cards, but they will not contact you.

90% of my Prius sightings are when they're being driven at 90mph on the motorway... Environmentally conscious my big blue bottom. They're bought by self-righteous fashiontards.

From an engineering perspective, I think it's alright as there's only one thing wrong with all those 400,000 Priuses.

It's not like it's an important part.

Oh, wait a minute...

Good one  I do wonder if it`s a "bowden cable" throttle or a Fly by Wire one  like a M8 had on a Chrysler Jeep. Car wouldnt go more than tickover  He rings dealer and says throttle cable is broke . Dealer says - It`s electronic  and to set the cruise control to get it to rev. Needless to say - a tow truck arrived from the dealer pretty soon

I think your mate's experience with the Jeep shows why steer-by-wire has never been incorporated on a production vehicle...

I thought the BMW Active Steering was, but it turns out it's just a mechanical linkage with a mechanical gearbox.

 we`ve got electrically assisted power steering on our Pug. I don`t really like it  it doesn`t seem to have any "slack" in straight ahead position - I find I`m sort of over correcting - then again, it could be the Shyte roads in Sussex. causing car to wander slightly :?
