My combi is about 10 yrs old and usually runs ok, but recently having problems on the hot water setting only, I think ! ( not sure if when on heating/water its the TRVs that turn the boiler off or this fault)
When running hot water after a minute or so the boiler shuts off, water goes cold for 10-20 seconds boiler fires up again,some warm -hot water delivered, then again turns off.
This cycle did happen a few weeks ago but then stopped, now back ?? no pressure loss any time, so can you through some light on the fault.
The main heat exchanger was presssure washed out,seemed to be clear so refitted.
