Thanks for all that helped in my last thread, but I think now my prob is cavitation. Being a fully pumped open vent sys with 2 zone valves . The distance from the boiler to the pump is approx 30ft horizontally piped in 22mm.
The noise in the pump happens intermittently and just sounds like a load of air, also happens when the 2nd zone valve opens(either HW or CH)
I've got the pump turned to 1st speed, with no problems delivering heat, just gave it a top up of inhibitor just in case
Should I have used 28mm pipe and is there a pump that delivers a lower head.
Any thoughts will be welcome
