Problem with a British Gas C1 Boiler

Hi all, Hope theres someone out there who can shed some light on this problem.

We had a power cut the other day and when the power was restored I discovered that the LCD display on the boiler was completely blank. The central heating comes on at the preset times as before but the display is blank and I can't change any settings etc.

Anyone know what part has been damaged and how much it might cost to repair. Is it a diy job?

i cant remember which boiler the c1 is, it wont be hard to change the display but the price of the part could be an issue i suppose.

The c1 was made by worcester for bg so try phoning them for new timer

in that case its probably the programmer that looks like an invensys lp. thats a caker to change and shouldnt be pricey either.

Def a Worcester and Pretty certain the C1 was a 26 CDi
