Problem with Indesit W143S Washing machine

My Indesit W143S was working fine until I moved it to my new utility room. Now the programme dial just clicks round, no matter what it is set at. The drum turns and the water fills (and drains again immediatley).
The red light on the front flashes 3 times when the programme starts but the just flashes as the dial clicks round.

Check the drain hose is not down too low also check the two thin wires on the heater thermistor at the back.
