The other day the boiler stopped starting up and was making a fairly loud high frequency rattle. My mum and dad have since bought a new control box thing(the bit that turns it on and off) which has made no difference at all.
I've lowered the front of the boiler down and it sounds like it's coming from behind the on/off/reset switch. Then I took the cover off the back of that and it sounds even louder so I'm assuming it's something on the actual pcb but I can't physically see anything.
Would there be anything else that would cause it to make such a racket and not start?
The pressure was set to just over 1bar.
