Problem with Worcester 28i boiler!

Hi, I have a problem with my Worcester 28i boiler. When I switch the heating on or run the hot water for a while eg. run a bath, it will just switch off and just make a whirring sound but never kicks in. The timer clicks frantically also. The pressure is constantly on 1 bar. Can someone please offer any advice of what may be the problem?

Pretty vague with your info there. Does it fire up at all? You will have to lift and remove the front panel to look through the sight glass.

sounds like the air pressure switch. common with these boilers in my own experience.

Hi, yes it fires up but then after 5 minutes or so it just cuts off and won't fire up again.
