HELP!! my boiler has stopped functioning, i.e. no hot water or central heating, the symptoms are as follows: when it stops working, if you run the hot tap, you only get cold water, if you then turn the tap off and then back on again, you then get hot water. when you then turned the hot tap off, the central heating would kick in for a while, the house starts to warm up nicely, then the boiler switches off and doesnt start again, unless you go back and start the hot tap on/off/on again. i have had a couple of gas lads look at it but unfortunately they have been unable to resolve the problem? any help would be appreciated. the problem has got worse now, it will not work at all, and a few month's ago it had a new divertor valve fitted.

yes, i have checked the water pressure, i have even gone to the length of completely dropping the system and refilling it
