problems with vaillant at nightime

Hi - a bit of advice if poss please - we have a Vailliant boiler system - all very good etc except for one problem....it keeps coming on during the night and waking wife and baby...i have read in other topics about turning hot water switch off - is this the best route to take?

What model Vaillant? It may be a combi with a preheat.

probably the warmstart not set up correctly

if you have a 140 electronic timer:

in programs you have H1,H2 & H3 these set hot water warmstart and heatiing times depending on the tap symbol or the radiator symbol flashing set the symbol so that the tap flashes then program the times you want on H1 & H3 if you only want 2 periods set the times on H2 to the same time I:E 12:00 & 12:00 but make sure its a time between H1 off and H3 on.
if you want a 3rd time set then program H2 with the middle time you want

if you dont have a vaillant timer or if you dont want warmstart at all then turn the water temperature dial to minimum and then back to the temp you want say 55 - 60 the "C" symbol will dissapear, to switch on at anytime turn the water temp dial to max and then back to your water temp
