Problems with Worcester Bosch 230 RSF combi boiler

The problem appears to be the pilot light on my boiler (Worcester Bosch 230 RSF combi ). When switched on it seems to come on and then start making loud banging noises and then the pilot light goes out.

The pressure was really low (below 1) so I turned the 'tap' on the fill loop until the pressure increased and switched the boiler back on only for it to do the same thing again.

Any ideas?

The pump has packed up . Causing boiler to overheat

Sorry I'm a complete boiler novice, what pump has packed up? Is this easily fixed?

To be honest if you don`t know what a pump is it`s better to get someone in

Black slip on ones .They where the next step up from the coloured plastic sandals from woolies. Now white tennis shoes they where the business.
