got a worcester 9.24 electronic boiler which is showing random numbers on lcd screen and switching on and off heating. have been searching for any kind of ideas how to fix it and came accross programmer module might have gone and that you can buy them from b and q. i was wondering if this could be correct and if they were hard to fit.
I'm assuming you mean an optional programmer built into the boiler?
Not something I know a lot about but quite often there's a reset button, the kind that's very tiny and you have to push with a biro. Worth trying if you haven't done so already.
Failing that, if you have the manual and the skills, and it's an optional module you should be able to bypass it and control the boiler with the room thermaostat until you can get a replacement.
