Last year I had my prostrate checked by a locum GP. He must have had short fingers as it felt like he was fist**g me.
Both times, I was sent to hospital, to see a specialist. The upcoming phone appointment, is also with a specialist at the hospital.

Men and Prostate checks
I went for my "well man" check the Doctor did the checks but did not include the prostate check . I queryed why this was not included ,
it appears this is part of the system, one has to request the check, unlike the test for women they are checked for Breast and cervicle cancer automatically . Men have to ask for the prostate test . if they can think about it .
I had the test only to find I had early stage Prostate Cancer , I have received MRI Scan Treatment and the all clear .
I am glad I insisted on the original check Why do men have to request this check , it should be automatic . with the rest of the health checks

At odds with my experience, but I guess it depends on whether you have/need blood tests. They contacted me, when the results of a blood test showed a high PSA, and suggested an hospital, urology appointment to check things out, which I had to agree to. I'm not sure if they check PSA as a normal part of blood tests.

What's the tell tail signs of prostrate cancer. Nit thst I'm looking for another illness. Just nice yo know what I'm looking for.
I don't exhibit any symptom at all, apart from a high PSA from the blood tests, and an enlarged prostate, but...
Other symptoms are - difficulty fully emptying your bladder, having to empty it frequently, having to get out of bed to go during the night. That is due to the urine pipe, leading down from the bladder, passing through the doughnut shaped prostate gland. Cancer causes enlargement, and the hole through the middle to reduce in size, trapping the pipe, reducing your ability to properly empty your bladder.
Its possible you will not get any early noticable signs unlike other Cancers , If your father has had Prostate in the past get yourself checked it is generic .
