Hi everyone,

the two windows in the attached picture are suffering from water ingress.

We believe the ingress might be due either to bad isolation of the lead structure they are sitting in (we'll get this checked) or to the lack of a protective water guard at the edge of the windows.

On the latter point (protective guard), do you have any suggestions as to what to do (what material / type of guard / installation tips etc)?

Thanks for any advice you would like to share!

Guard against what?
Not sure what the correct terminology is, but basically a protective guard preventing the water from dripping directly on the window. I thought a few centimeters would be enough.

weathering system around the windows obviously isn't good if they are leaking.
depending on where the damp is it could easily be condensation under the lead.. in which case it is destined to fail
