I have a problem with my daughters boiler,it will give central heating but if you use the hot water the the pilot will extinguish after "overheat"!! works and lock out occurs until the pilot is re ignited manually. The thermocouple has been replaced, also a new pump fitted and now diverter valve and still the same thing happens.help, please, she cannot keep having things changed to TRY.[/b][/u]

if lock-out occurs while the hot tap(s) are running i wouldn't suspect the flow switch, if its after taps tuned off then flow switch is most likely cause.

The flow switches on puma's are prone to sticking ive found. This is where i would start looking.

Alot of expensive parts fitted for no reason on this boiler too.

if the red light on the pcb stays on after the tap is turned off this confirms the flow switch fault

I went to one last night where the heat exchanger had been changed when it was just the flow switch. Cost about £300 apparently.
