pump blowing fuses

Can some one explain the reasoning behind it.

The boiler is a vaillant thermocompact. i.e turbomax plus system boiler

New pump 6 weeks ago as it had failed and AFAIK is now the cause of blowing the 3A fuse.

With a correct ohm reading across the motor (175) what is the cause of the failure? Or any other thing to look for?

Any ideas what caused the old pump to fail? sludge/scale?

Maybe the same underlying problem is what is causing this also?
