Hi Folks
Anyone know if a circulating pump can be put on the primary flow or return circuit to improve the flow.
The pipes come out of the stove, rise a few inches before dropping a foot, then pass through the chimney breast before rising to the first floor invented cylinder.
I’m aware this is not the way to get gravity flow but it was installed some 30 years ago and can’t really be changed due to the disruption and cost.( client is in his 80s).
If it can’t be done safely it will probably stay as it is (not working).
Many thanks!

No, regs require the system to be designed such that it will circulate without mechanical intervention
