Ihave to retile around a bath in my daughters house using mosiac tiles. I intend to leave the existing tiles in place and put the mosaic tiles on top of them. I have never done this before.Do I still need to put batten onto existing tiles as if i was tiling onto wall and start tiling up from the batten.
Are there problems and techniques with sticking tiles onto tiles
How difficult is it to cut such small tiles and what is best to tool to use
Are the mosiacs left on the backing mesh sheet to cut them or are they taken off and cut one by one
Is there a neat way of finishing on the top edges of the double thickness of tiles (ie the existing thickness plus the mosaic tiles)
Any other advice would be welcomed THANKS
