I have two barthroom cabinets that need putting up onto studwork walls.

I have used the self-tapping fixings that you simply screw in before, but I don't like them as in my hands they tend to life the top layer of the plasterboard.

Am wondering what other fastenings would be recommended as being easy and strong enough - these are small cabinets and won't have heavy stuff in them.

Look for 'mushroom' fixings. These push through a drilled hole and open up on the back when a screw is inserted.

Thanks, I'll get some. Need to make sure I have the right size drill as well!
