When they print one of the Sudoku puzzles in the paper, or even the older Wordfit ones, how do they work out that the start they give you is sufficient to work out the one unique solution ?

It is possible to work out the numbers if you are only given 1 number to start with. I wouldnt have the patience to do it, but I bet there are people out there.
 
Sadly, I'm one of those people out there. Always start with a square that has the most numbers in it. As to how those people compose these things, christ, I aint that bored :LOL:
