PVA mix for new plaster before wall tiling

Just had my kitchen skimmed and this has now dried out after a couple of weeks. I will be tiling part of the walls at the weekend and wanted to know what mix of pva to water to apply to the walls before tiling. I am using a bonding or sealing mix?

If you read the back of the tub of pva it'll tell you 5:1. i.e. 5 parts water, 1 part pva.
